Just south of Sumner at neighboring Puyallup’s VanLierop Park, wild fields of lupine create an Instagram paradise. And on sunny days, the purple flowers frame Mt. Rainier. Bring your camera, your friends, your favorite hat, and spend a few hours worthy of a lifetime of beautiful photos and memories.
Bonus: beyond the lupine fields are fields of rhubarb. As you explore the park, look beyond the lupine (it’s tough to see beyond the flowers, but give it a try), and you’ll likely spot farm crews pulling field rhubarb in their commercial harvest.
