Come Walk With Me has really grown over the years!  It’s exciting to see and also requires more space to walk.  In order to avoid shutting down most of Main Street and Valley Avenue, the walk has a new route shown on this map.  The walk will begin at 9 am on October 3 at the Old Cannery.  A rolling shut-down will travel along the route, closing the streets while the bulk of the walkers pass by and reopening as soon as it leaves.  Residents along this route may want to leave before the rolling shut down arrives or allow extra time for accessing garages and driveways.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

One option to avoid frustration is to join in the walk!  Registration is now available.  This home-grown walk is now hosted by Good Samaritan Foundation and supports breast health programs at nearby Good Samaritan Hospital, keeping services local for Sumner and Puyallup residents.  Walkers also really appreciate cheering and pink decorations along the route to show support for their efforts.
