The Sumner Link Trail is now listed on the Washington Trails Association (WTA) website. This handy resource offers a Hike Finder Map, and hikers and walkers can now locate Sumner’s trail this way.
And only a few days after being posted, the trail already has its first Trip Report. “Hiking Nerds” wrote the following: “This is handy to get to if you’re in the Sumner/Puyallup area. We parked at a trail head near the Sumner industrial park and the footbridge across the White River. The paved trail follows the river, but for the most part the view includes trees, farmland and hills, also goes by the industrial park. All in all, it’s a nice flat walk, great for training, great for biking, and not overcrowded.”
